This agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into by and between Kids Runway Inc. (the "Kids Runway") and Model's parent or legal guardian if the Model is under the age of 18.
1. EVENT PARTICIPATION
1.1 The Model agrees to participate in fashion shows, rehearsals, fittings, photoshoots, promotional activities, and any other events organized by the Kids Runway.
1.2 The Model agrees to attend all scheduled rehearsals, fittings, and events, with attendance being mandatory. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in disqualification.
1.3 The Model will comply with all schedules, guidelines, and instructions as provided by Kids Runway.
1.4 Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the Model’s punctual arrival, readiness for rehearsals, and compliance with all event guidelines.
2. BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
2.1 The Model agrees to always behave in a professional and respectful manner during the event(s) and in interactions with Kids Runway's team, collaborators, and other participants.
2.2 Any inappropriate behavior, including harassment, violence, or violation of event rules, will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event.
2.3 Parents/guardians are expected to behave respectfully and avoid disrupting event operations. Any interference with event staff, designers, or other participants may result in restricted access or other consequences.
3. MODEL’S APPEARANCE AND CLOTHING
3.1 The Model agrees to respect and wear clothing, and accessories provided by the Kids Runway, designated designers or partners for the event.
3.2 The Model is responsible for the careful handling and return of all clothing and accessories. Any damage, loss, or alteration to the provided items will be the Model’s financial responsibility for repair or replacement.
4. MODELING AGENCY
4.1 If the Model is represented by another agency, the parent/guardian agrees to notify the agency and obtain necessary permissions. Kids Runway is released from liability related to the Model’s agency representation.
4.2 If a commercial opportunity is secured, Kids Runway Inc. will retain a 20% agency fee from the gross earnings. Payments will be issued in Canadian Dollars once received and cleared from the client.
5. MEDIA AND PROMOTIONAL USE
5.1 The Model grants the Kids Runway the irrevocable right to use any media of the Model from the Event(s) for promotional or commercial purposes.
5.2 These materials may be used across all platforms without additional compensation.
5.3 The Model waives the right to review or approve any materials in which their image, likeness, or name appears.
5.4 Social Media Use: Models and parents may share photos and videos of the event on personal social media accounts, provided they comply with Kids Runway's guidelines and tag relevant parties. Unauthorized use of promotional materials or content may result in penalties.
6. LIABILITY AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
6.1 The Model (or the parent/legal guardian, if applicable) acknowledges the inherent risks involved in participating in the event(s) and voluntarily assumes all associated risks, including but not limited to physical injury or accidents.
6.2 In the event of an emergency, the parent/legal guardian authorizes the Kids Runway to seek medical treatment for the Model as necessary. All medical expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the Model’s parent/legal guardian.
6.3 Kids Runway is not liable for any injuries, damages, or claims arising from the Model’s participation in the Event(s), nor for any damages to property within the venue caused by the participants or their guardians. Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred will be the responsibility of the individual or group involved.
6.4 The parent/guardian acknowledges that by signing this Agreement, they provide explicit consent for emergency medical treatment during the event, should the need arise.
7. FOOD AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
7.1 Kids Runway may provide meals or snacks during the event, but the Model is responsible for informing Kids Runway of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions in advance.
7.2 While Kids Runway will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs, it cannot guarantee the safety or suitability of the food provided.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY
8.1 The Model agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information related to the event, Kids Runway's, designers, sponsors, and all involved parties.
8.2 Unauthorized sharing of any event-related content, designs, promotional materials, or confidential information before or after the event will result in disqualification and possible legal action.
8.3 Kids Runway will collect and store personal information provided in this Agreement for event management purposes and may be shared with third parties for show and modelling related work.
9. TERMINATION AND DISQUALIFICATION
9.1 Kids Runway reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and disqualify the Model from participation in the event(s) at any time, if the Model/Parents/Guardians fails to meet the attendance, behavioural, or performance expectations outlined in this Agreement.
9.2 If the Model wishes to withdraw from the event(s), written notice must be provided at least two weeks prior to the event(s). Failure to do so may result in financial penalties or other consequences.
9.3 Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing, models will not receive monetary compensation or reimbursement for expenses incurred during participation in the event.
10. NO SOLICITATION
10.1 The Model agrees not to contact or solicit any stakeholders of the Kids Runway, including designers, photographers, social media teams, marketing agencies, agents, brands or partners, regarding anything without Kids Runway's prior consent.
11. INDEMNITY AND RELEASE
11.1 The Model (or parent/guardian) agrees to release and indemnify the Company and its team from any claims or damages related to the Model’s participation, including injury or property loss.
11.2 The Model acknowledges the Company is not liable for injuries or claims resulting from the Model’s actions or non-compliance.
12. MISCELLANEOUS
12.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the Model’s participation in the event(s) and supersedes any prior agreements or representations, oral or written.
12.2 Any changes or modifications to this Agreement must be mutually agreed upon by both parties to be considered valid.
